Materials and Applications

Roland Stika SV-12 is a versatile vinyl cutter/plotter designed for a wide variety of applications. Create custom stickers, retail displays, signs, heat transfers for apparel, etching material, decals, labels and vehicle graphics. Included is a tiling feature which allows you to create larger signs by tiling several small images to produce one larger image. The Roland SV-12 vinyl cutter/plotter also provides a cost effective print/cut solution. Connect the Roland SV-12 to a computer paired together with a standard desktop printer and produce contour cuts of printed images. All you have to do it print registration marks on the printed material of choice, load the printed graphics into the Stika SV-12 and then set the position of the registration marks using the Stika driver. You are now able to contour cut graphics especially useful for creating iron-ons and POP displays.

Bundled Software

The Roland Stika SV-12 vinyl cutter/plotter includes the latest version of Roland Cut Studio absolutely free. This user-friendly design software allows you to rotate, reduce, re-position, mirror and tile images. You can even cut out TrueType fonts without having to outline them. From the simplest lettering to complex colorful sign graphics, Cut Studio allows you to expand your creativity. With the Roland Stika SV-12 vinyl cutter/plotter and Cut Studio, you can import photos and graphics, add text along an arc and draw and edit circles and curves. For more complex graphics, you can combine circles, lines, rectangles, polygons and curves. Roland Cut Studio also supports BMP, JPG, STX, AI, and EPS file formats. The Roland Stika SV-12 works well with Windows 98 SE/Me/2000/XP and Windows Vista and includes plug-in software for Adobe Illustrator 9/10/CS/CS2/CS3 and Corel Draw 10/11/12/X3 for Windows; as well as, Adobe Illustrator 9/10/CS/CS2/CS3 for Mac. As a result, users can input their data from any of these programs directly to the Stika SV-12. In addition, Roland Stika SV-12 features the Stika Navi on-screen operation panel. Using the Navi panel and your mouse, you can move the cutting blade into the desired starting position for accurate and precise results every time. This unique feature helps maximize media usage and makes vinyl cutting even easier.
